Following a formal tender process Cad-Capture has been awarded the contract to provide full measured building surveys and intelligent CAD files for Walsall Council Children's Services property portfolio.

The tender was evaluated based range of criteria to determine the most economically advantageous solution. The evaluation was weighted 60% financial and 40% quality.

Walsall Council is committed to the principles of asset management planning as a strategic means of prioritising capital investment in premises.

In managing a large and diverse estate, the success of this strategy is dependent on having relevant premises related information available in a format that allows it to be cross referenced and analysed so that informed estate management decisions can be made.

Cad-Capture has significant expertise and experience in this area, having undertaken similar projects for over 80 UK Local Authorities and having processed in excess of 20,000,000 m² of property floor plans.

Walsall Children’s Services is the name given to the organisation, part of Serco Group plc, working in partnership with Walsall Council in managing education services in Walsall.
